Unit 3

Introducing Dwell on Fairview, a bold new concept in up-and-coming South Berkeley close to Ashby BART, the UC Berkeley campus, Whole Foods, Berkeley Bowl, and the popular Elmwood and Rockridge neighborhoods. Set in a historic 1890 Victorian building that recently underwent a dramatic down-to-the-studs transformation, this stylishly refurbished unit comprises a 3-bedroom, 2-bath unit on the 2nd floor.

A modern interior featuring recessed lighting, a mini split A/C in each room, stacked W/D hookups, artisan tile in the baths and hand-crafted wood treatments lovingly installed by the developer himself. The charm and beauty of the original architecture was painstakingly preserved with a modern spin that includes lush landscaping, redwood fencing, and Ipe decking.

A new foundation, new structural framing, dedicated fire sprinkler service and fire alarm service, soundproofing between the units, maintenance-free landscaping with drip irrigation, landscape weed barrier and French drain with integrated sump pumps and all new systems were also integrated to meet the needs of 21st-century living.

An open concept living/dining/kitchen, engineered white oak plank flooring throughout, and nearly floor-to-ceiling windows keep it feeling light, bright and spacious. The kitchen has wood cabinets, farmhouse sink, open shelving and stainless steel appliances. There are unique spaces and alcoves that could be converted into an extra sitting or desk area if needed, plus additional storage spaces.

An extra large ipe deck off the living room connects you to the outdoors and lets in fresh breezes and nature. There is a dedicated parking space and an EV charge outlet in the front. If you’re looking for elevated living in a rare modern setting – look no further!

Unit 4

Introducing Dwell on Fairview, a bold new concept in up-and-coming South Berkeley close to Ashby BART, the UC Berkeley campus, Whole Foods, Berkeley Bowl, and the popular Elmwood and Rockridge neighborhoods. Set in a historic 1890 Victorian building that recently underwent a dramatic down-to-the-studs transformation, this stylishly refurbished 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit on the top floor.

Modern interior features recessed lighting, a mini split A/C in each room, stacked W/D hookups, artisan tile in the baths and hand-crafted wood treatments lovingly installed by the developer himself.

An open concept living/dining/kitchen, engineered white oak plank flooring throughout, vaulted ceilings and nearly floor-to-ceiling windows keep it feeling light, bright and spacious offering views of the East Bay Hills. The kitchen has wood cabinets, farmhouse sink, open shelving and stainless steel appliances.

Distinguishing the top floor 2-bedroom unit are vaulted ceilings, engineered white oak plank flooring throughout, nearly floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room with abundant natural light and a view of the Berkeley Hills, plus a comfortable ipe balcony for letting in fresh breezes and nature.

The kitchen strikes a transitional tone by featuring Belgian white oak with bamboo accents, a farmhouse sink, open shelving and stainless steel appliances. If you’re looking for elevated living in a rare turn key modern setting – look no further!

Southwest Berkeley is located less than two miles from Downtown Berkeley and is one of the area’s most popular residential neighborhoods. If you are looking for investment properties near UC Berkeley, Southwest Berkeley is a great place to explore. Multi-unit duplexes provide affordable housing options for college students and faculty, and make a great addition to a real estate investment portfolio. Other great features of Southwest Berkley include a convenient access to Northwest Berkeley’s Fourth Street, Berkeley Marina, and a variety of local shops and restaurants.

The City of Berkeley offers beautiful public parks, each of which has its own amenities and features. Southwest Berkeley residents love to visit San Pablo Park, which is located in between Russell and Ward Streets. This spacious park is ideal for morning or afternoon walks with the dog, or gathering with friends for your favorite outdoor activities. San Pablo Park’s amenities include two different playgrounds for toddlers and school-aged children, basketball courts, lighted tennis courts, two soccer fields, and a spacious multi-use field perfect for flag football or Ultimate Frisbee.

Most of Southwest Berkeley’s popular restaurants can be found on or near San Pablo Avenue, which effectively runs in between the neighborhood. Whether you are looking for a casual coffee shop before your commute, or an amazing culinary experience to share with friends, you will probably find it on San Pablo Avenue. Notable restaurants include Caffe Chiave, Longbranch Saloon, and Anchalee.

Oakland, UC Berkeley, and Albany, CA are all within a 15-minute bus ride from Southwest Berkeley. AC Transit Route 72 runs north and south on San Pablo Avenue, and with buses running every 10 minutes during the day, it’s always convenient to walk over and catch a ride. Plus, Downtown Berkeley’s BART Station is just a short rideshare away, which can take you to the Financial District or Google headquarters in approximately half an hour.
